Directions to Shelby Hall

We are located in Shelby Hall on the campus of The University of Alabama. Here is a link to find Shelby Hall in Google Maps. If you have a standalone GPS unit instead, route to the intersection between Campus Drive and Hackberry Lane in Tuscaloosa. The closest visitor parking is the Campus Drive parking garage (the Shelby lots are reserved for staff, and traffic enforcement on campus is fierce). The closest airport is Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International (BHM).

Driving in from Birmingham on I-20W/I-59S

  1. Take exit 73 for US-82/McFarland Blvd
  2. Keep right at the fork; merge onto US-82 W/McFarland Blvd E
  3. Stay on McFarland for 3 miles; exit towards Campus Dr.
  4. Turn left onto Campus Dr.
  5. The entrance to the Campus Drive parking garage will on your left, right before the second traffic light.
  6. To park in the Shelby parking lots instead, at the second light turn right onto Hackberry Ln, then take the first left into the South Shelby lot, or the second left (at the light) to the North Shelby lot.
